I was able to connect with Brett and moderate several sessions. For those of you who attended - thanks! I hope my participation was good to see. This was a moment of reflection for me since after so many years moderating at SES, the Chicago SES was the very first on American soil that I missed, and I've only missed one or two SES shows outside the US. It has been a great run and I am open to more. There is, however, reason for me to think that Danny's new SMX conference series (and PubCon) has more activity that interests me. I have therefore decided to get more involved with those events including an upcoming webcast. Visit the site and register at www.searchmarketingnow.com for a free webcast coming up on Thursday at 1pm EST US. I'll be running through the basics of search marketing, starting with how it fits into the marketing mix. If you get the chance to join us, you will be provided the opportunity to send in questions which will be answered time permitting. There are 300+ registered for the event already, and it should be great fun. The odd feeling I had on stage at PubCon was how for me it felt a little like some of the best days on stage at SES. The audience tends to be a bit more advanced, and so questions were similar to the times when SES was newer and those in attendance were more advanced. It felt eerie to me and I checked myself a few times to recall that it was PubCon! Stay tuned, -detlev ----------------------------------------------------------------- Stay Tuned.
