==> Nice Title

From: Michael Zerman <>

Hi Disa

Just a little example of how a good title can work if all four of
the copy-writing, keywords, domain name and title-length are well
handled.

I'm a member of an Australian sports organisation (community-
based, non-professional) that is involved with Bodysurfing.
That's bodysurfing in the ocean water, not in a mosh pit. Nor is
it about "bodyboarding", which involves riding a thin spongy mat,
and is also known as "boogie boarding".

The organisation's site (managed from Adelaide, Australia and
hosted in Brisbane, Australia) returns "above the fold" results
from many country-specific Google sites (eg, US, France, Brazil
and the UK) which I attribute to a fair degree to the main title
tag's content.

I wrote this tag to incorporate words which are used by a
majority of searchers seeking info about bodysurfing & related
sites, while recognising that in the Title tag, *only* the
explicit version of a word is returned for a search.

So I used the words bodysurf, bodysurfer and bodysurfing to write
the tag as:

<title>Bodysurfing Australia Incorporated - representing
Australian bodysurfers in the world bodysurf community.</title>

Of course, the reality that the domain name included one of the
words, namely "bodysurfing" is, of course, a great help in
returning good results.
