==> Odd Results
"Strange findings that the SEO industry itself had virtually no
growth from 2005 through 2006."
From: Lee Odden
I thought the article was a bit odd myself and it makes me wonder
whether the audience surveyed for the report was weighted more
heavily towards in-house marketers. Regardless, just about
everyone I know in the SEO biz that has any talent, is turning
down business weekly and some daily. It's a great time to be in
this industry.

==> PR Update
"Just thought I'd let you know multiple datacenters are showing
new PR activity :) - Joost de Valk"
http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/more-info-on-pagerank/
Essentials: Matt Cutts answers some questions from comments on
his popular blog. Most of the concern is around the time delay
by Google when they get around to exporting PR scores for use in
the toolbar. Matt announced the update without promising to do so
every time. This time it happened to coincide with his noticing
threads appearing (like the SearchReturn post by Joost de Valk
last week).

==> Yahoo! Mobile Ads
http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/061004-090744
Essentials: Yahoo! beta launches paid mobile search ads in the US
after testing in the UK and Japan. Mobile ads will allow users to
visit advertiser sites, and includes a phone number so users can
go ahead and dial right there. It's important to note the ads are
to display in Mobile Web Search, and not through SMS which is
typically powered by the carrier.
