==> AdSense Robot Supplements Google Cache
http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/060419-094701
Essentials: Discovered by Greg Boser and later confirmed by Matt
Cutts of Google, AdSense partners are seeing the relevancy robot
used to target ads for pages is populating Google's cache index.
Google's cache is separate from the search Web index. There is
no ranking or indexing benefit for publishers running AdSense.
Speculation whether an otherwise ignored page, or new pages, can
get indexed by Google quicker when running AdSense has been
denied. Google has explicitly shunned Paid Inclusion, although
Google is known to change course when it suits them, such as with
clutter and ads on the Google homepage, chat and portal-like
personalization rather than directing users to outside sites.

==> Search Firm Reportedly Banned
http://www.threadwatch.org/node/6276
Essentials: A major British Search firm has experienced indexing
trouble in Google. There was speculation that it was the result
of Google banning, though it appeared not to be true. At the
WebmasterWorld conference in Boston, Aaron Wall reports that Matt
Cutts of Google confirmed they have been banned during a site
review panel.

==> Google Enterprise Search Update
http://news.com.com/2100-1038_3-6062593.html
Essentials: Borrowing a term normally associated their SERPs,
Google rolled out "Google Onebox for Enterprise." Google makes a
small fraction of its revenue from sales of enterprise search
products, though it represents a reasonably important venture for
the Web search giant. They have teamed up with Oracle, SalesForce
and Cisco to better compete against competition in the space
mainly coming from FAST and IBM.

==> SimplyHired Attracts Fox
http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/060419-123010
Essentials: SimplyHired, a relatively new job search engine has
attracted investment by Fox Interactive. News Corporation, which
owns Fox Interactive, has made significant investments lately in
Internet sites, most notably MySpace. They've placed a board
member with SimplyHired, and this is their first foray into the
world of search.
